ABOUT US
The Blvd Collective
began in 2021 when Pierri Brown, inspired by the needs of Indianapolis’s unhoused, started distributing clothing, food, and hygiene items from her car. Driven to do more, she launched a mobile pop-up shop providing essential goods and meals directly to those in need.
Her inspiration grew while working in a senior community, where she invited residents to help prepare meals for the unhoused. To her delight, the seniors were not only eager to help but found purpose and joy in the opportunity to give back. This spirit of intergenerational community lies at the heart of Blvd Boutique: we bring together senior volunteers and a mobile pop-up shop to directly serve the unhoused, creating meaningful connections and providing essential resources to those most in need.
At The Blvd Collective, we operate with Boundless Love, Virtue, and Determination (B.L.V.D.), working toward a future where everyone has access to basic necessities and a chance to thrive.
Our Mission
Blvd Collective restores dignity and hope by providing clothing, food, and resources to Indianapolis’s unhoused population. By partnering with senior volunteers, we foster meaningful engagement, creating social connections that enrich lives and combat isolation. Through innovative programs, we serve two vulnerable populations, bridging generations with compassion and purpose to make a lasting impact.
Vision
Our vision is to create a compassionate community where every individual has access to essential resources, fostering dignity and hope. By addressing the needs of the unhoused and empowering senior citizens as volunteers, we promote purpose, connection, and mental well-being. Through our innovative pop-up model and collaborative initiatives, we aim to combat social isolation in seniors—reducing the risk of dementia—while providing nourishment, clothing, and care to those in need. Together, we’re building a stronger, more inclusive future for all.
